And now the new Polaris 6 winter tire can be ordered from retailers in time for the new season. It is available with immediate effect in a total of 30 sizes. In the development process for the new Polaris 6, the engineers created a V tread pattern for the tire to increase grip levels on snow. Plus, they integrated small adhesion-enhancing pockets into the sides of the shoulder blocks in the form of teeth-like gripping edges. These "Snaqua pockets" also serve to collect water in rainy conditions. When it comes to driving in more wintry conditions, the Polaris 6 has a multitude of sinusoidal and zigzag sipes on its tread blocks, which increase traction in the snow. This boosts grip levels when pulling away and braking, as well as during precise cornering manoeuvers.
